The UK Government's Carbon Capture Investment Roadmap

The UK Government has published its carbon capture usage and storage (CCUS) investor roadmap outlining joint government and industry commitments to the deployment of CCUS in the UK, and the approach to delivering 4 CCUS low carbon industrial clusters by 2030. This is part of the UK Government's commitment to achieve net zero by 2050.

This investor roadmap summarises the current engagement of government and industry and outlines further opportunities to deliver on national CCUS objectives in collaboration with investors.

The CCUS investor roadmap forms part of a series of roadmaps to be published over the course of 2022 for each sector of the Prime Minister’s Ten Point Plan published in November 2020, demonstrating how the UK is delivering on its green commitments.
