Cyber attacks - including state-sponsored ones - have become a major source of supply chain risks. Accordingly, the software supply chain represents a major emerging threat. The Foreign Economic Espionage Report published by the US's National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) - linked below - provides insight into respective espionage activities.
The report exemplifies not only the major exposure for supply chains resulting from cyber attacks. It again demonstrates that managing supply chain risks is one of the main challenges in building resilient companies.
