Another day - another consultation announced. Following the IICSA recommendation for changes to the law on limitation in child sexual abuse cases, a consultation has now been launched to consider the same. The consultation is open until 10 July.

Eight options for reform are proposed, from complete removal to an extended limitation period or codification of existing judicial guidance to reversing the burden of proof. A further blog will follow with more detailed consideration of the options and the implications of the same.
