In a effort to tackle housing need in the country, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Housing continues to seek out innovative modern construction methods.
The second batch of modular precast housing has been delivered to beneficiaries this week. Using alternative construction techniques the unit can be completed within 48 hours.
This follows on from the release of the first batch of this type of precast housing in late December 2018 and the construction of the first 3D printed home near Riyadh in November 2018.
As part of Vision 2030 and the Sakani programme, the Ministry of Housing continues to explore alternative construction methods to increase home ownership in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Housing has handed over a new batch of residential units built using “modern construction techniques” by property developer Alhakmiah Holding as part of the authority’s Sakani programme.
